The eighth biennial Library Assessment Conference, held virtually between October 29, 2020, and March 17, 2021, brought together 931 participants primarily from North American academic libraries. The program offered six sessions on Diversity, Equity, Ethics, and Privacy; Assessment Programs and Organizational Issues; Critical/Theoretical Assessment and Space; Measurement and Methods; Services; and Teaching & Learning and Value. The conference did not hold poster sessions or workshops this time; posters and workshops that were accepted for the program before the conference shifted from in-person to virtual are listed on the 2020 posters page and 2020 workshops page. The proceedings contain 39 papers published individually, representing the diversity of assessment efforts.
The Library Assessment Conference is co-hosted by the Association of Research Libraries and the University of Washington Libraries. The University of Chicago Library was a local partner for the 2020 conference.
Planning is underway for the next conference, to be held in 2022.
