Thank you to our 591 attendees at the 2018 Library Assessment Conference in Houston!
The Association of Research Libraries and the University of Washington Libraries, together with our local hosts, University of Houston Libraries and Texas A&M University Libraries, held the 2018 conference December 5–7. The conference goal was to build and further a vibrant library assessment community by bringing together interested practitioners and researchers who have responsibility or interest in the broad field of library assessment. This year’s conference included 82 poster presentations and 94 paper sessions, as well as panels and practicums. Plenary sessions included a compelling keynote from Paul-Jervis Heath at Modern Human and a panel discussion on inclusion by Mark A. Puente, ARL, Lorraine Haricombe, University of Texas Libraries, and David H. Carlson, Texas A&M University. Pre- and post-conference workshops were held on Tuesday, December 4 and Friday, December 7.
